Antonio Gramsci
I found a qoute I want to share with anyone who happens to surf by and is interested in reading it. It’s from Professor Carlos Aguirre’s homepage at the University of Oregon.
“I think you must like history, as I liked it when I was your age, because it deals with living people and everything that concerns people, as many people as possible, all people in the world, in so far as they unite together in society and work and struggle and make a bid for a better life. All that can’t fail to please you more than anything else, isn’t that right?” Antonio Gramsci, writing from prison to his son Delio shortly before dying in 1937.

Very nice quote, and I agree with it dearly. I love history, where as my betroth cannot stand history.
